FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: device contains automatic tensioner (1), located at shaft top and fixing device (2) located at shaft bottom both of which are connected to two ends of steel rope respectively. The automatic tensioner is attached to hydraulic system and to tension control system. The automatic tensioner (1) includes lower bearing surface of stopping fixture located on upper bearing bar, tensioning hydraulic cylinders unit and plungers, fixing bearing surface, carrying frame, supporting bearing surfaces, seats for hinge pins, rope clamp, rope fixing clamp, two guide posts with guiding grooves, upper bearing surface, guiding clamp for rope orientation and regulation. The fixing device (2) located at shaft bottom contains fixing plate and fixing rope clamp to fix rope. The method is implemented using device described above.
EFFECT: inventions provide simple design of flexible guide, as well as usability, reliability in operation and simplicity of mounting and maintenance.
