FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: air heater contains a burner system including the burner with a structure of multiple pipelines various in diameter and meant for transfer of fuel gas or air for combustion, and the burner channel. The central pipeline and the middle pipeline contain a device for a vortex flow generation meant for generation of the vortex flow of fuel gas or air for combustion. An external pipeline is meant for a linear flow of fuel gas or air for combustion. Combustion gas is supplied to the combustion chamber from at least one or several burner systems in an affluent direction which doesn't pass through the combustion chamber centre.

EFFECT: using this invention ensures the efficiency of combustion in the burner system and excludes the damage of a fire-resistant material on an internal wall of the burner channel.
