FIELD: power engineering; air heaters of blast furnaces, and other heating apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: furnace has combustion chamber, precombustion chamber, burner, in the form of two coaxially arranged pipings external one having diameter DI and internal piping, diameter D2, which function to supply combustible gas and air in separate streams. Inner diameter of precombustion chamber equals hydraulic diameter of burner external piping diameter DI; length of precombustion chamber lpr=/ I-9 / DI; installed in internal pipe of burner is antifluctuation device in the form of shell with longitudinal grooves formed by flat partitions and spaced / I-3 / DI from combustion chamber. Hydraulic diameter of channels d in peripheral part of furnace d=/ 0,I-0,5 / DI; diameter of channels in part is 2d. Central channels have additional movable walls dividing each central channel into two equal sections by means of actuating mechanism controlled by command signals coming from microcomputer incorporated in process control and monitoring system that functions to afford spectral expansion of gas pressure fluctuation frequency amplitudes and to yield commands for shifting movable walls of channels according to amplitudes of 3-7 Hz range while maintaining amplitude values at minimum.
