FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of lighting devices. A traffic light system comprises a housing with a protective element and, inside the housing, a light source in the form of a LED array on a printed-circuit board. The system consists of N independent LED lines with a common heatsink based on a steel plate. A power supply is linear. Each LED is shunted by a stabiliser and the protective element of the housing used is a diffuser, which is a transparent lamp shade made of polycarbonate.
EFFECT: high reliability of the lighting part.
