FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering industry, particularly, to electromechanical power converters running in contactless bearings. Proposed process consists in measurement of e.m.f. of electrical machine every phase to be decomposed to harmonic components. Machine output voltage is measured to be represented in two phase system of coordinates. Here, equivalent current are calculated to measure rotor rpm. Changes in 1st, 3rd, 9th and 43rd harmonics of e.m.f. allow concluding on rotor spatial position. Changes in voltage, r.p.m. and equivalent currents in two phase system of coordinates allow concluding on rotor angular coordinate. Data on changes in rotor spatial position and angular coordinate is fed to controller and power converter for them to control the effects of control elements.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of control and reliability of machine operation.
