FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: control of rotor position is implemented against intensity of external magnet field of magnetic bearings based on permanent magnets which are used as the basic support bearings, data about intensity changes comes to a proportional-integral-differential (PID) controller and power converter, which regulate voltage at two electromagnets controlling the rotor instability. The magnetic bearing control device contains magnetic bearings based on permanent magnets, PID controller, a power converter, two electromagnets, rotor position sensors made as sensors of the external magnet field and installed at the external surface of the device body.

EFFECT: improving accuracy and reliability of the magnetic bearing control.
