FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: engagement mechanism for door locks with a lock bolt driven by a handle or a rotary head, which may find application in housekeeping, industry, hotels, public organisations, offices, etc. The mechanism performs a pull-in motion, which is sent to a lock bolt (8A) in a lock (8), and connects a shaft (7) of square cross section passing via a lock (8), one end of which is continuously engaged with the inner handle (5), and also an electric motor (10), the shaft of which is connected to a worm shaft (10A). The other end of the shaft (7) of the square cross section is fixed on a guide bushing (20). A profiled bore (20A) is in permanent engagement with a profiled slider (19), arranged coaxially with an outer handle (4). During activation the mechanism by means of the electric motor (10) and a spring (12), fixed with the worm shaft (10A), moves the slider (19) in axial direction towards the hole (4A) of engagement of the outer handle (4), thus connecting it with the shaft (7) of the square cross section, which drives the lock bolt (8A).
EFFECT: improved operational reliability.
