FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gasification system components, particularly, to bafflement mechanisms in said gasification systems. In compliance with one version, gasification system component, say, intensive cooling assembly (14) or scrubber (19) can contain cooling fluid (52) for cooling of second fluid (47). Gasification system component comprises bafflement mechanism (70, 88, 98, 100, 102, 104, 106, 112, 118, 120, 130) for bafflement of cooling fluid flow (52), second fluid (47) or both in gasification system component. Bafflement mechanism can be arranged in inner side (58) formed between submersible pipe (54) and exhaust pipe (56) or in outer chamber (60) formed between gasification system walls and exhaust pipe (56). Besides, bafflement mechanism can be arranged between inner chamber (58) and outer chamber (60).

EFFECT: minimised flow fluctuation in gasification system component.
