SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry, namely to an energy storage method by generation of oxygen and hydrogen, which are necessary for operation of fuel elements, during reduction of need for electric power in an energy system on the territory of an electric power consuming enterprise.
EFFECT: at performance of a complex of process measures of influence on substances placed in specially designed apparatus it is possible to remove hydrogen from hydrogen-containing compounds by a chemical method without any electric power consumption, and at generation of oxygen during electrolysis of an oxygen-containing compound in the form of electrolysis mass it is possible to reduce electric power consumption for feeding of an electrolysis unit by reduction of resistance of an electric circuit passing through electrolysis mass, due to the fact that an anode of the electrolysis unit is made in the form of a box with cells filled with a substance capable of oxygen absorption from electrolysis mass.
