FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: use: for controlled heating of body tissues using high-intensity focused ultrasound. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the convex transducer of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) comprises a convex piezoelectric antenna array having opposed convex and concave rear surface, and the front surface comprises an acoustic transmitting surface, and a plurality of electrodes located on the convex rear surface, for applying electrical transmitting signals to the antenna array, and a circuit plate located at a distance from and opposite the rear surface of the convex piezoelectric antenna array which connects the electric signals to the electrodes of the antenna array, and the space between the circuit plate and the convex piezoelectric antenna array comprises an acoustic air rear passage of piezoelectric antenna array for air cooling of convex piezoelectric antenna array and the circuit plate.
EFFECT: improvement of cooling of structural elements of convex transducer of high-intensity focused ultrasound.
