FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: in a searching method of new crystalline compounds in glass-forming eutectic systems there used is glass with a composition differing from eutectics composition not more than by 1-1.5 mol %. First, the first differential thermal analysis or differential scanning calorimetry (DTA/DSC) of glass powder is performed; beginning and end of a glass formation effect, crystallisation beginning temperature and liquidus temperature is determined. Then, a melting pot is put into a furnace heated to the temperature that is by 70-100°C higher than the temperature of the earlier determined liquidus, exposed at this temperature during 10-20 minutes and cooled in the air. Then, the melting pot is subject to DTA/DSC for the second and the third times, and as per difference in temperature of endothermic fusion effect in the third DTA/DSC from eutectics and liquidus fusion temperature, which are determined as per results of the first DTA/DSC, formation of a new crystalline phase in a monolithic glass is evaluated.
