FIELD: cryobiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cryobiology, namely to compositions of cryoprotectants. A biomaterial cryoprotectant based on a glass-forming aqueous solution of magnesium acetate containing 40 wt. % Mg(CH3COO)2 and 60 wt.% H2O.
EFFECT: proposed biomaterial cryoprotectant is non-toxic, stable to crystallization.
