FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device for storing and advancing of a carrier is proposed, it comprises bobbins of one side able of rotation, tapes of one side wound respectively around the bobbins of one side, a drum able of rotation to rotate in one direction for winding and storing the carrier, the carrier is laid above the tapes of one side and in the opposite direction for unwinding of the wound carrier, and holders respectively opposite the tapes of one side in relation to the carrier wound on or unwound from the drum set so that to adjoin the carrier surface and hold the carrier, the tape width of the tapes of one side is shorter than the carrier width corresponding to the carrier length in the direction being perpendicular to the carrier movement direction, the tapes of one side are set parallel and at the distance being shorter than the carrier width in the carrier width direction, providing for adjoining to the other carrier surface.
EFFECT: prevention of carrier edge twisting at its transfer in the device.
