FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device of manipulating data carriers, in particular, for example, to the automated cash register designed to insert into it of data carriers, such as banknotes, to perform the desired transaction. The device comprises: a drum, supported on a fixed part of the said device with the ability of rotation around the rotating shaft and having a cylindrical peripheral surface; a movable unit capable of moving relative to the drum for moving the data carrier between the slot for insertion/removal of the data carrier and the approach area to the winding point, in which the data carrier starts to be wound around the peripheral surface; the tape having the tape width which is substantially smaller than the length in the direction of the data carrier width, perpendicular to the direction of the data carrier passage for winding the data carrier, supplied from the movable unit, around the peripheral surface; the winding roller supported on the movable unit with the ability of rotation around the rotating shaft substantially; parallel to the rotating shaft of the drum, and detachably in contact with the drum for pressing the tape to the peripheral surface in the approach area to the winding point, a guiding roller supported on the movable unit with the ability of rotation around the rotating shaft substantially parallel to the rotating shaft of the drum and detachably in contact with the drum for pressing the tape to the peripheral surface in the place where the tape is separated from the winding roller in the direction along the outer circumference of the drum, and the pressing unit which presses the guiding roller and the winding roller to the peripheral surface, and the force of winding and pressing, that presses the tape to the peripheral surface by means of the winding roller is substantially greater than the power of directing and pressing, pressing the tape to the peripheral surface by means of the guiding roller.
EFFECT: improvement of the design.
