FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to welded pipe reaming. Reamer is fitted in the pipe. Said device consists of tool arranged at head drawbar to expand radially and to align radially with head roller to allow reamer rest on the pipe being gaged. In gaging, thrust force is measured and compared with preset force while in case said thrust force deflects from preset magnitude, this is indicated. Note here that heat roller is equipped with measuring device to take up thrust force acting on head roller during expansion. Besides it comprises measured magnitude processing and control and unit for indication of deflection from preset threshold of allowance.
EFFECT: higher quality of straightening.
