SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to tube straightening. Straightening is carried out by expanding tool retained by tie rod with crosspiece to expand radially and straightening appliances acting on tube radially from outside. Note here that said expanding tool is used solely for expanding tube to material plasticity while straightening forces acting from outside by straightening triangle are applied to tube.
EFFECT: higher quality of straightening.
