FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Hollow ESR ingots are bored and turned to 500±2×ID330±2×2750±50 mm hollow ingots-billets for removal of cavities and flux traces. Said ingots-billers are heated to ductility temperature and rolled at Pilger mill to rerolled hot-rolled stalks sized to 325×12×22400-23300 mm. Rolling is performed with smooth increase in feed of said ingots-billets to deformation source with weed of 0 to m"уст." over pipe length equal to 1800-2400 mm or 1.5-2.0 of feeder rollback. Two thirds of ingot-billet length are rolled to 16000-17000 mm long stalk at feed m"уст.".=12-14 mm. Ingot-billet remainder is rolled at smooth feed increase from m"уст." to (1.2-1.25) m"уст.". Stalk is cut to lengths of 7450-7750 mm, bored and turned to rerolled pipes sized to 321×8×7450-7750 mm. Pipes are rolled at CPR 450 mill to rerolled cold-rolled pipes sized to 284.8×6x10500-11000 mm, cut to pipe billets sized to 284.8×6×5250-5500 mm and shaped to hexagonal pipe billets.
EFFECT: balanced plastic properties and ferrite grain size over stalk length.
