FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. ESR ingots are cast to size of 490x1750±25 mm. Said ingots are turned to billets sized to (460-485)×1750±25 mm in weight of 2150-2460 kg. Through central 100±5 mm diameter bore is drilled therein. 2050-2356 kg ingots are heated to 1060-1090°C and pierced at helical rolling mill to sleeves sized to 470× ID295×2550-2930 mm with diameter increase δ of 0-2.2% or diameter decrease Δ of 0-3.1% and rolling-out µ of 1.48-1.65. Said sleeves are rolled at Pilger mill to pipe sections sized to 290×12×24000-28000 mm and seed 600-1000 mm long ends are cut off by hot sawing saw. Pipe sections are cut to two pipes of 10250-10500 lengths. Pilger heads 600-800 mm long not rolled completely are removed from third 6000-6500 mm long pipes. Rerolled pipes are straightened and accepted as specified.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, lower metal input.
