FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry. Proposed material features density of 200-550 kg/m³, preferably 300-550 kg/m³, and modulus of elasticity of 4000-12000 MPa, preferably 5000-12000 MPa, more preferably 6000-12000 MPa. Modulus is elasticity is measured by four-point bending test as per EN 789. Note here that this material contains the binder and macro fibres with shape factor of over 20. Said shape factor is understood to make fibre length-to-width ration. Said binder has foam structure. Note here that 90-95% of pores feature side of 30-500 mcm. Note also that said binder, forms, at foaming, the foam with density of 30-300 kg/m³. Proposed production process comprises making of macro fibres, their orientation, application of the binder, closure of the die and foaming of said binder. Note here that binder system is adjusted to start foaming after die closure solely. Note also that at die closure macro fibres are, preferably, to be compacted at minimum degree. Invention covers also the article made of this wood composite.

EFFECT: low density, modulus of elasticity suitable for production of load bearing elements.
