SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determination of carbon dioxide emissions from steam generating systems used for heating of working fluid medium. A method for determining carbon emissions from a steam generating system involves stages, at which the first energy of feed water is measured at the inlet of the steam generating system, and the second energy of steam leaving the steam generating system is measured. The first energy is subtracted from the second energy to determine full energy absorbed by the steam generating system. Full energy absorbed by the steam generating system is divided by an efficiency to determine the heat supplied to the steam generating system. The supplied heat is used to determine carbon emissions from the steam generating system.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of a method for determining carbon dioxide emissions.
