SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a projection value processing device for processing collected projection values. A first image is reconstructed by a reconstruction unit based on the investigated collected projection data with reconstruction allowance. A simulated projection value determining unit determines simulated projection values by simulating projection through the investigated reconstructed first image with reconstruction allowance, and difference values for the collected projection values are determined by a difference determining unit, where a difference value indicates the degree of difference between corresponding collected projection values and the reconstruction allowance, by comparing the collected projection values and the corresponding simulated projection values.

EFFECT: improved quality of a reconstructed image.
