FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises drilling wells with well casing, leaving at the bottomhole of the uncased part with the length of 1.5-2.0 m. Connecting the wells together is carried out by fracturing of the coal bed using low-freezing flammable liquid, such as kerosene. The resulting slits are washed with the same liquid at least 3 times. The casing pipes are removed from the wells while burning of the coal bed.
EFFECT: simplification of the process of underground coal gasification and increase in reliability of fracturing of coal bed.
