SUBSTANCE: preventer comprises a body with vertical feedthrough hole for pipes, two horizontal cavities with shear blinded rams and pipe hold-down rams placed symmetrically in regard to the vertical feedthrough hole, hydraulic drives for rams movement, channels feeding pressurised ram control fluid, reverse valves, manual drives for rams and kinematic connection units connecting manual drives with hydraulic drives for rams.
EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of preventer operation.
