FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for maintenance of oil and gas wells, to ram preventers equipped with two ram gates designed to hermetically close the well channel. A dual ram preventer is proposed, containing a body (1) with a through hole (2) and two ram gates (3) and (4) installed in ram channels (5) and (6) located across the through hole (2) of the body (1), dies (7) with mechanisms for moving (8) dies (7). Four through holes (9, 10, 11, 12) are made in the body (1) wall, opening into the through hole (2) of the body (1) into the space above, below and between the ram gates (3) and (4). Wherein on the wall of the body (10) of the preventer above the through holes (9, 10, 11, 12) there is a body (13) with bypass channels (14) and a shut-off valve (15). The housing (13) covers all four through holes (9, 10, 11, 12), while in the housing (13) there is a through central channel (16) connecting three bypass channels (15) equipped with shut-off valves (15) connected with three through holes (9, 10, 11) opening into the space above, below and between the ram gates (3) and (4). The housing (13) has a fourth bypass channel (17) connected to the fourth through hole (12) opening into the space between the ram gates (3) and (4).

EFFECT: providing the ability to regulate the communication of closed spaces of the through hole of the preventer body located above the ram gates, between the ram gates and under the ram gates, as well as to control the pressure of the medium in these spaces, and to pump and drain the media into the spaces.
