FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, namely to devices designed to seal the channel at the wellhead of the well closure. The proposed double preventer includes a housing with a vertical through channel and a through horizontal channel with two-sided ram cavities located across the longitudinal axis of the vertical through channel, two ram gates located in the corresponding ram cavities, which are equipped with two main rams sealing downhole equipment and two blind rams, and mechanisms for moving the rams in the corresponding ram channels with a manual screw linear drive. The mechanism of movement of the corresponding ram is made in the form of a lock from longitudinal movement at the end of a manual drive inserted into a ram gate, which is made in the form of a main ram with a cavity under a blind ram, hermetically inserted into the cavity of the axial ram with the possibility of longitudinal movement inside and spring-loaded out.
EFFECT: simplicity of the design and the reduction of metal consumption for the device.
