FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes production of an alloy from a mixture of powders of aluminium and diboride or carbide of titanium by impact-wave compaction in the form of rods with content of 5 wt % of powder of diboride or carbide of titanium in the alloy with particle size (1÷5) mcm and introduction of produced rods into aluminium base melt, heated to 720°C, with simultaneous exposure of the melt to ultrasonic field.
EFFECT: increased strength and wear resistance of alloys.
