FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for production of parts that feature limited ductility by high-temperature closed-die forging. Proposed process comprises upsetting and shaping the part by male die in female die filled with hydrostatic medium, creating the hydrostatic pressure inside said female die and forcing said hydrostatic medium through clearance between said male and female die or via special spinnerets in female die. Process plasticised metal is used as said hydrostatic metal. Note here that cross-section area of said spinnerets and clearances between male and female dies are selected to make hydrostatic pressure in forming exceed yield point of hardly-deformed material. In compliance with second version, forging is carried out from powder at closed-die deformation degree of at least 5%.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of processing, expanded performances.
