FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small-size tubular adaptors made from diverse materials by multi-stage forming of bimetal sheet. Tubular blanks are forged from flat disk billets by forming conical billets with angles of 60° and 30° at first and second stages. Produced cylindrical billets are reformed from larger diametre to smaller diametre. One-shot deformation in a stage makes 8% to 12 %. Produced billet is machined to produce finished adaptor. Diametre reforming at third stage is performed by drawing with load applied to billet bottom. During final stages, billet cylinder is reduced on loading the billet end face.
EFFECT: higher density, strength, corrosion resistance and operating reliability.
