FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to working machines. The working machine contains an internal combustion engine, connected with a stepless transmission, and speed sensor, connected with a drive. The data processing circuit increases the reduction ratio of the transmission in response to the sensor signal in such a manner that the transmission of the effective torque fed back from the stepless transmission input to the drive output, de facto, is equal to zero. The data processing circuit increases the reduction ratio of the transmission in response to the first output signal in such a manner that the stepless transmission input ensures an inverse driving of the engine output. The machine can additionally contain a brake actuator, brake sensor and working brake. In the method of operation of the working machine the drive is moved to provide the speed with reference to the ground; the drive position is identified and the output signal indicating the reduced speed is provided. Also the reduction ratio of the stepless transmission is increased; the brake actuator is enabled; the braking drive is enabled and the reduction ratio of the stepless transmission is increased in response to the output signal.
EFFECT: rapid deceleration of the machine is eliminated.
