The method comprises: generating an image pyramid of an image frame; detecting a plurality of interest points within the image pyramid and extracting feature descriptors for each point from the plurality of interest points in the image, wherein extracting the feature descriptors includes rotating gradients of interest points by a given angle to obtain a radial gradient transform, and extracting the feature descriptors includes performing gradient breakdown and/or spatial breakdown.
EFFECT: high rate of processing data.
