SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improved method of conversion of carbon monooxide CO and water H2O in carbon dioxide CO2 and hydrogen H2, which includes stages of binding carbon monoxide from gas phase with first solvent with obtaining formiate HCOO-, decomposition of formiate HCOO- and separation of formed hydrogen H2. Either formed hydrocarbonate or formed carbonate is precipitated and separated, solid hydrocarbonate or solid carbonate is thermally decomposed and carbon dioxide CO2 is separated. Carbon monoxide CO is bound from gas phase with first solvent in first reactor (1), formed formiate HCOO- is decomposed in third reactor (3), and formed hydrogen H2 is separated, precipitated hydrocarbonate is separated in second reactor (2) and thermal decomposition of solid hydrocarbonate and removal of carbon dioxide CO2 is performed in fourth reaction (4). Method makes it possible to carry out reaction of carbon monoxide displacement with improved efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
