FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises a heater (9) and an insulating chamber (4) filled with a gas which does not react with rubidium metal, said chamber housing a target (10) which is a steel shell filled with rubidium metal and irradiated in a stream of accelerated charged particles, a holder (1) for the irradiated target (10) and a chemical reactor (23), whose housing is connected by pipes for feeding into the chemical reactor (23) molten rubidium metal (18), nitrous oxides (17), nitric acid solution (19), as well as a pipe (15) for outlet of the obtained rubidium salt solution from the chemical reactor (23). In special cases of the design of the apparatus, the pipe (18) for feeding molten rubidium metal into the chemical reactor (23) is fitted with a valve (6). The insulating chamber (4) is heat-insulated.
EFFECT: simple technique of producing strontium-82 and improved safety.
