FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises impregnation of electrode with the solution of praseodymium nitride and heat treatment. Note here that said electrode is impregnated with the solution of praseodymium nitride in ethanol of concentration of 0.3-2.0 wt % PrO1.83. Thereafter, electrode is heat treated by heating at the rate of not over 50°C/h to temperature of praseodymium film formation at interface "electrode/electrolyte".
EFFECT: reduced electrode polarisation resistance, better gas electrode exchange reaction occurrence.
