FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is aimed at provision of the possibility to reduce losses of electric energy supplied along long power cables to an electric submersible pump in process of operation of a submersible electric motor. The system comprises a source of power supply on the surface, power cables between the submersible pump and the source of power supply, and provides for usage of the submersible electric motor 20. The electric motor comprises a body 28, where a stator 24 and a rotor 22 are installed. The ferromagnetic fluid 30 is placed in the body in the amount sufficient for submersion of the stator 24 and the rotor 22 into it. The specified sufficient quantity is calculated relative to ohmic losses of power cables for reduction of magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit of the submersible electric motor for reduction of higher voltage on the source of power supply on the surface to the specified voltage or reduction of the increased current in the source of power supply on the surface to the specified current for operation of the electric submersible pump at the specified level of output capacity.

EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at reduction of energy losses in a submersible electric motor.
