FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing flexible composite sorption-active materials. The method includes mixing powder of a porous adsorbing material in the form of zeolites, silica gels or combinations thereof, with polymer binder and moulding the obtained composition in an article of the required geometric configuration. Moulding is carried out by electrostatic spinning at 25-50°C. Moulding is followed by activation of the flexible composite sorption-active materials in a vacuum at residual pressure of not more than 5 mmHg and temperature of 70-200°C until complete removal of the solvent. The polymer binder used is polymers of fluorinated derivatives of ethylene. The starting components are missed in ratio of the powder of porous adsorbing material/polymer binder of 5-70/95-30 wt %. Before moulding, a solvent is added to the mixed composition of adsorbent and polymer binder in amount of 5-30 ml/g polymer binder. The solvent used is a acetone. The composition is prepared using a starting powdered adsorbent-filler with particle size of 0.2 mcm to 5 mcm.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain flexible composite sorption-active materials with low hydrodynamic resistance to the gas stream being purified, high values of kinematic parameters of sorbate mass-transfer processes.
