SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a packaging container (11) for food products comprising a packaging container (1) made of film, that along its median longitudinal axis (2) has a substantially conical side wall (3), a bottom (8), and also a circular edge (7) intended for sealing, and also a casing-shaped outer part (10) surrounding the packaging container (1). The edge (7) intended for sealing has a thickness (32) of the wall, which, compared with the original thickness (31) of the undeformed film is reduced by an amount in the range of 2% to 25%, in particular between 6% and 20%. In the median longitudinal axis (2) located perpendicularly to the plane, as well as in the unloaded and ready to use state of the packaging container (11), the inner diameter of the casing-shaped outer part (10) is maximum by 1.5% smaller and maximum by 2.5% larger than the outer diameter of the packaging container (1) in the same plane.
