SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rigid or semi-rigid container that can be made by winding or folding paper without formation of ribs, with body or external walls in cross section, made completely or partially along curvilinear outline. Cup comprises a body and a bottom, wherein the body of the cup is made of a film-coated strip of the same width along its entire length and different lengths along the upper edge and the lower edge, wherein said first lateral edge extends to strip second lateral edge to make the seam over the strip entire height while bottom is flat and tightly jointed with the case while film covers the entire inner surface of the case including the seam. Container consists of cup and cover, wherein cover is made with possibility of adjacency to inner surface of cup body.
EFFECT: expansion of arsenal of known cups and containers, improvement of their ergonomic properties, reduction of material consumption, improvement of tightness of bottom connection to the housing and cover to the housing, production cost reduction.
