FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for inspecting air-tightness, placed in the cavity of the inspected object (1), has two cylinders (6, 7), a differential manometer (12), connecting lines (13, 14) and valves (9-11, 15, 16, 18). The cylinders (6, 7) are placed in a sealed casing (8) and are connected to the differential manometer (12). The sealed casing (8) is placed in a vacuum chamber (2) which is fitted with a vacuum pump (17). A pressure-seal lead through (4) is built into the wall of the vacuum chamber (2) for capillaries (5), the ends of which face the cavity (3) of the vacuum chamber (2). A valve (9) for releasing the control medium into the chamber (3) is connected to the pressure-seal lead through (4) on the side of the vacuum chamber (2).
EFFECT: high reliability of inspecting air-tightness of large-size objects.
