FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of research devices for tightness and can be used for research on the tightness of hollow devices. Device contains vacuum chamber (1) for placing product (8) pressed by the test gas. Vacuum chamber (1) is connected to successively located additional vacuum chambers (2, 3), the volume of each of which is no more than 1/3 of the volume of the previous vacuum chamber. Vacuum chamber (1) and additional vacuum chambers (2, 3) are connected in series with each other by connecting elements (13, 14) through holes made in the housings of the vacuum chambers. Cross-sectional area of each through hole and connecting elements (13, 14) with their length equal to 1/3 less than the cross-sectional area of the previous through connecting hole of the vacuum chamber. Moving product (8) between vacuum chambers (1–3) is carried out using conveyor belt (7). Vacuum chambers (1–3) are equipped with heaters (16). Tightness control of product (8) is carried out using mass spectrometric leak detector (9).
EFFECT: reducing labor intensity and increasing the reliability of control results.
