FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring an excess of expiratory fullness of lungs by analysing computed tomography findings obtained in the expiratory respiratory phase and building three-dimensional models in the densitometic range of -850 HU and below, and measuring the parameters of expiratory fullness of right (EFR) and left (EFL) lungs, voxels (vox). If EFR is more than 112 vox, and/or EFL is more than 87 vox, lung hyperinflation is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides the differentiated assessment of measurements in the right and left lungs that enable the differential diagnostics of various diseases and conditions of lungs.
