SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the presence of dysfunction of the small airways (SAR) in patients with mild bronchial asthma. The peak expiratory flow (PEF) is determined as a % of the proper values, the MOC25 level as a % of the proper values, the proportion of linoleic (18:2n-6) acid, the ratio of arachidonic and eicosapentaenoic acids (20:4n-6/20:5n-3), the proportion of docosahexaenoic (22:6n-3) acid, the indicator of the relative content of all DMA18:0 to the total content of stearic acid in the blood (DMA18:0/FAME18:0), the level of leukotriene B4 in pg/ml, and the content of the cytokine IL-6 pg/ml. Then the coefficient K is calculated using the developed mathematical formula. When the value of K is less than or equal to 114 c.u. the absence of dysfunction of the MDP is established. When the K value is equal to or higher than 115 c.u. the presence of dysfunction of the MDP is established.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to assess the presence of dysfunction of the MDP in this category of patients in the early stages, as well as to use a personalized approach and develop an optimal treatment plan for each patient, which in turn makes it possible to prevent the progression of the disease and achieve disease control.
