SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sealant composition, which comprises a prepolymer simple polythioester containing thiol end groups, an epoxy hardener and a latent tertiary amine catalyst, which is selected from an imidazole inclusion catalyst, an imidazole-epoxy adduct, and combinations thereof.
EFFECT: use as a latent tertiary amine catalyst imidazole inclusion catalyst, or imidazole-epoxy adduct, or a combination of them allows to obtain the compositions of sealants, which are characterized by increased working time and quickly are cured at the room temperature at the end of working time, which allows for their use as sealants for aerospace purposes.
