FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: measurement device to measure speed of fluid medium flow passing in a pipeline in the main direction of the flow, comprising a deviating unit connected with the pipeline and made as capable of diversion of the fluid medium flow from the main direction of the pipeline flow and direction of the flow into a measurement section, at the same the deviating unit represents a tight reservoir, having an inlet part, connected with the inlet pipeline, an outlet part, connected with the outlet pipeline, and a deviating part connected with the inlet part and the outlet part, and comprising a tubular element, located at least partially in the deviating part and the outlet part, besides, the tubular element has the measurement section, equipped with facilities for measurement of fluid medium flow speed, and a connecting section that connects the tubular element with the outlet pipeline, besides, the ratio of the area of the cross section of each inlet part, outlet part and deviating part to the area of the cross section of the pipeline makes from 1:1 to 4:1.
EFFECT: exclusion of usage of geometrically complex elements of a deviating unit, possibility to eliminate impact of low-frequency periodical oscillations.
