FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: condensate trap contains vertical cylindrical casing with cover, inlet and outlet branches, installed in casing open float of "turn-up glass" type, lock device including valve, valve rod pin-connected with the float. The valve is made as vertical cylindrical tube, in wall one or several valve holes are made, the valve is installed with clearances in holes in the pocket wall connected by the open side with the outlet branch; the valve rod is made as plate, its top end is located in the cylindrical tube, the plate has recess in form of the through slot; on top and bottom ends of the cylindrical tube in the diametrical direction the wire pins are secured, at that the bottom pin passes through the slot of the valve rod; at outlet of the inlet branch the connected with it baffle is installed, the vertical cylindrical casing has internal limiting shoulders.

EFFECT: invention excludes the effect of pressure difference of the passing flow at inlet and outlet of the condensate trap on its operation efficiency.
