SUBSTANCE: condensate trap containing a vertical cylindrical housing with a bottom and with a detachable cover, an inlet and an outlet nozzle located inside the housing, coaxially with it, an open cylindrical float of the inverted cup type, a shutoff member on the cover, which includes a conical seat, a valve hole, valve with surface of spherical shape, wherein valve is fixed on diametral part of float wall, which is conical, in valve hole there is, with possibility of free movement, guide rod, by its one end rigidly connected with valve and float, and its other end freely passes through central hole of grate disk located behind valve opening, at end of inlet branch pipe there is a reflector, on inner surface of cylindrical housing there are ribs-limiters, and at bottom of housing there are thrust ribs.

EFFECT: invention relates to means for removal of condensate from heat exchangers, where steam is used as heating transfer fluid, and can be used in various fields of equipment.
