FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for removal of condensate from heat exchange units, where as heating heat carrier there used is steam, and can be used in various fields of application. Steam trap includes vertical cylindrical housing with a cover plate, inlet and outlet branch pipes, open float of turned over glass type, which is located in the housing, fixed support attached to the cover plate, locking member including a seat, valve opening, valve with spherical-shaped surface, which is connected to a stock having hinged connection to the lever which has hinged connection to the float on the lever end. Lock member is adjacent to outlet branch pipe, hinged connection of lever to stock is located on the lever end opposite to the other lever end having hinged connection to the float; seat and valve are located at the valve opening outlet; seat of locking member is cone-shaped.

EFFECT: invention allows simplifying the design, increasing efficiency and operating reliability of steam trap.
