FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for oligomerisation of one or more hydrocarbons, which includes steps of: A) feeding washed raw material which includes one or more C3- and C4-hydrocarbons into a first separation area, wherein said washed raw material which includes one or more C3- and C4-hydrocarbons was washed with water to remove one or more nitrile compounds; B) separating, in said first separation area, a first stream containing an amount of C3-olefins which is effective for oligomerisation; C) drying at least part of the first stream to reduce water content in the first stream and obtain a dried first stream; D) separating, in said first separation area, a second stream containing an amount of one or more C4-olefins which is effective for oligomerisation, wherein said second stream substantially does not contain water; E) feeding at least part of the dried first stream into a first oligomerisation area to obtain a first output stream containing both C9-hydrocarbons and C12-hydrocarbons, F) feeding at least part of the second stream into a second oligomerisation area to obtain a second output stream containing both C8-hydrocarbons and C12-hydrocarbons, wherein said second output stream is a stream separate from the first output stream; G) feeding at least part of said first output stream and at least part of said second output stream into a second separation area; and H) separating, in said second separation area, at least one stream containing one or more C8-, C9- and C12-hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: disclosed method minimises processing of streams in apparatus located downstream, such as hydrofining apparatus.
