FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling of steel section bars. The method provides for production of stocks, their heating and subsequent multi-stage longitudinal rolling in vertical and horizontal rollers with gauges. Reduction of costs for production with simultaneous increase of environmental safety of production is provided by the fact that stocks are produced by means of longitudinal cutting of decommissioned oil and gas pipes, stocks are heated to 1100-1280°C, and rolling is carried out with total drawing of at least 1.5. In versions of the method realisation after longitudinal cutting the surface of stocks is exposed to shot blasting and/or treatment with rotary metal brushes. Besides, stocks are heated in a gas furnace with oxidising atmosphere.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of rolling.
