SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote control of devices. The method comprises steps of: collecting, by an intermediary control device, information about devices of said at least one device, connected through a personal area network; converting, by the intermediary control device, partial information necessary to distinguish said at least one device from information about the device into converted information about the device in a form based on a device control protocol supported by a device control server; transmitting the converted information about the device from the intermediary control device to the device control server; receiving, in the intermediary control device, function control data relating to said at least one device from the device control server; and transmitting the received function control data to said at least one device through the personal area network.
EFFECT: providing remote control of a device without an external network access function.
