SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, a computer-readable medium and a mobile computing device for conducting remote payment transactions. The method comprises steps of establishing trust relations between a first and a second mobile computing device, wherein the second mobile computing device stores payment information associated with a user of said device, in order to conduct an electronic payment transaction using the second mobile computing device; initiating, using the first mobile computing device, a point-of-sale terminal payment transaction; communicating, using the first mobile computing device, with the second mobile computing device over a network in order to receive payment information from the second mobile computing device; and completing, using the first mobile computing device, the payment transaction using the point-of-sale terminal, using the payment information received from the second mobile computing device.
EFFECT: high reliability of electronic payment transactions.
